“I draw the Walrus” is a work of art created with mixed media on a piece of paper 10 meters long and 0.70 meters wide, which illustrates the lyrics of ‘I am the Walrus’, which is, according to the critic, a song which represents “the absolute apex of Lennon’s songwriting, never matched again by the artist himself”, contained in the Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour.

The particularity of this artwork is that, following the hypothetical flow of consciousness which generated the lyrics, the drawing presents itself as a sequence of chain-linked, seamless images.

Due to its size, it has been displayed to the public only once, during an exhibition that was received by the public with great enthusiasm and appreciation.

“I draw the Walrus” è un’opera d’arte realizzata con tecnica mista su un foglio di carta lungo 10 metri e alto 0,7 m, che illustra il testo di “I am the Walrus”, che è, secondo la critica, un brano che rappresenta “l’apice assoluto del songwriting di Lennon, mai più eguagliato dall’artista stesso”, contenuto in Magical Mystery Tour dei Beatles.

La particolarità di quest’opera è che, seguendo l’ipotetico flusso di coscienza che ha generato il testo, il disegno si presenta come una sequenza di immagini concatenate e senza soluzione di continuità.

A causa delle sue dimensioni, è stata esposta al pubblico solo una volta, durante una mostra che è stata accolta dal pubblico con grande entusiasmo e apprezzamento.
